CHALLENGE

The client needed to migrate large-scale applications from legacy on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure. The primary goals were to ensure scalability, system reliability, and cost efficiency while managing a hybrid environment during the transition.

Fronture Technologies delivered a comprehensive cloud strategy focusing on automation, infrastructure management, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE):

Automated Migration

The team utilized .NET and PowerShell to automate the migration of applications and Virtual Machines (VMs) to Azure. This was later extended to move two mission-critical applications into Azure Native services.

DevOps & CI/CD

Fronture implemented Azure DevOps pipelines to automate Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), streamlining release management across both on-premises and cloud platforms.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

SRE practices were established to handle performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high system availability using tools like Azure Monitor.

Cost Optimization

The team provided proactive performance monitoring and cost management to keep cloud spending efficient.
